The position is offered for 6 months, from 1 February 2026 to 31 July 2026, on a part-time basis for 20 hours per week.

Your main tasks and responsibilites

* Conduct data analysis and modeling to ensure accuracy and consistency across datasets
* Extract, clean, and analyze datasets from multiple sources to simplify complex data and propose ideas for improving data generation and quality
* Develop and test BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualization tools
* Collaborate with the S&OE team to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements
* Automate and digitalize existing manual reporting processes using Microsoft Office 365 tools such as Power Platform
* Identify and explore opportunities to apply AI applications to automate repetitive and manual tasks

Your expertise and ideal skill set

* Studying at a university of applied sciences (FH) with a focus on business intelligence, data science, data analytics, or a comparable degree program
* Completion of a mandatory (FH) internship in the summer semester of 2026 is included in your university of applied sciences study plan
* Proficiency in BI tools, especially Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and data warehouse design
* Strong SQL skills (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL) for querying and data manipulation
* Familiarity with Python, R, or Java for data analysis
* Understanding of AI concepts and cloud-based BI solutions
* Experience with Power Automate and Power Apps for process automation
* High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel (advanced formulas, macros/VBA, PivotTables, data visualization), plus experience with Power Automate and Power Apps
* Understanding of basic supply chain management concepts and processes
* Fluent in English (oral and written); German is desirable
* Team player with strong problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills

The minimum gross salary according to the collective agreement (chemical industry) is EUR 2,010.75 based on 38 hours per week (full-time).
