Internship: Application Engineering for 3D Imaging (f/m/div)

Job Description
In your new role you will:

* Perform Software engineering in Python
* Develop object oriented Python code as well as unit tests for new internal tools as well as extending existing tools
* Develop Scripts and Python tools to handle (operating &configuring & testing) our 3D image sensor
* Develop algorithms to process the 3D sensor data

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)
Duration: min. 6 months

Your Profile
You successfully meet the requirements, if you are a motivated and committed student from the field of Informatics, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or similar. You are best equipped for this task if you additionally offer:

* Experience in software development with python
* Strong interest in 3D image data processing and algorithms
* Knowledge of ROS as a plus
* Knowledge / experience with C++ as a plus
* Fluent in English, good German knowledge as a plus

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2025.pdf).
