Test Manager - Off-Highway (m/f/d)

In this challenging position, you will be responsible for the test management for our products in the off-highway sector on system as well as on software level. Together with the project team, you will define the systems, processes and tools for test implementation and test automation, considering relevant standards and guidelines. This gives you the possibility to actively contribute to the successful completion of our projects of tomorrow's mobile machines.

Your Tasks

* Define and lead the overall test strategy for TTControl products across software, system, and hardware domains
* Coordinate testing activities to ensure timely milestone achievement, resource alignment, and effective communication across teams
* Ensure adherence to safety and cybersecurity standards (e.g., ISO 13849, IEC 61508, ISO 26262) and internal quality processes
* Manage defect tracking and resolution throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring traceability and quality
* Prepare test reports and dashboards, and track KPIs such as coverage, defect leakage, and testing efficiency
* Drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies, automation, tools, and CI/CD practices
* Mentor test engineers and foster a culture of quality, ownership, and professional growth

Your Profile

* Technical degree (TU/FH) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or a related field
* Minimum 5 years of experience in software/system testing for embedded systems, with proven experience in a test lead or test manager role
* Hands-on experience in safety-critical testing (e.g., automotive, aerospace, machinery) is highly valued
* Knowledge of functional safety standards and their application in the testing process
* ISTQB certification (CTAL-TM) is an advantage
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a quality-first mindset and attention to detail
* Reliable, committed team player with an independent working style
* Excellent communication skills in English, German proficiency is a plus

We provide an attractive and performance-based salary, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. This position is subject to the Collective Agreement for Employees in the Metal Trade ("Kollektivvertrag für Angestellte Metallgewerbe") and we offer a minimum salary of EUR 53,000 gross per year. Actual compensation can be well above this standard.
