Credit Risk Calculations department is a provider of several software solutions such as Cover Pools and Credit Claims as well as credit Risk Weighted Assets, several ESG functionalities like Carbon Footprint Calculations and Real Estate Database within Erste Group. The solutions are based on various technologies, such as Oracle, Postgres, SAS, Python and R.

What to do:

• Support of colleagues in Credit Risk and Carbon Footprint Calculation teams as an experienced developer
• Be part of a team creating new solutions and enrich it by bringing in your skills and experience
• Analyze new requirements, create technical design specifications and development
• Participate in FAT and deployment, after going live support and support of operations
• Work together with IT and Business colleagues in an agile product team
• Accompany the products throughout their whole lifecycle

You check these boxes:

• At least 4 years of experience with Object-oriented programming and designing Software Architecture using Python especially with libraries such as Polars, Pandas, Numpy, Networkx
• Deep understanding of data types, structures and algorithms how they work under the hood
• Solving optimization problems is not unknown to you
• Experienced with orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, Dagster or similar tools
• Good understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
• Knowledge in Linux, CI/CD Pipelining, Containerization (Docker, Podman, etc.)
• Experience in service or consulting area, ideally with international customers is a plus
• Proven work experience in last three years within the field of Banking especially Credit Risk is greatly appreciated and extra rewarded
• Customer oriented work attitude, analytical thinking, the ability to act independently and responsibly, team-minded and last but not least communicative
• You will use English throughout your business day, additional skills in German are an advantage
