Technical SAP Consultant for Manufacturing and R&D (m/f/d)

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
In our unit Digital Solutions & IT Architecture, we develop concepts and IT solutions for our global coatings and surface business. We drive innovative solutions, ensure seamless end-to-end processes, and identify global best practices for BASF Coatings locations.

* Your role as a Technical SAP Consultant for Manufacturing and R&D focuses on developing or selecting the technically optimal implementation of business processes in manufacturing (production & internal plant logistics).
* You work closely with the Global Process Owners and the digitalization teams in the global business units or Global Operations.
* Your focus is on consulting and supporting SAP projects in the manufacturing area, with a focus on the SAP PP (Production Planning) and SAP Recipe Management modules as part of SAP PLM.
* This includes designing and implementing SAP solutions, including customizing and integrating into existing system landscapes, as well as supporting the introduction of new business functions.

WHAT YOU OFFER
* degree in business informatics or business administration with an IT focus
* in-depth knowledge of IT landscapes, especially customizing and coding in the SAP S/4HANA environment
* experience with methods and tools for interface description and data architecture
* several years of experience with global IT projects is desirable
* strong communication and presentation skills in both German and English
* analytical skills and enjoyment of teamwork to achieve optimal results with internal and external partners
